The parking lot at VFW Ship 4084 offers a flexible outdoor area suitable for larger community gatherings, special events, and public activities such as farmers markets, swap meets, and yard sales. With ample space and convenient access from the main road, this area provides an ideal setting for local vendors, organizations, and community members to come together and host open-air events that support local engagement.
While we welcome event rentals for community use, it’s important to note that Ship 4084 is not a licensed campground, nor do we claim to be. Overnight stays, RV parking, or camping activities are not available to the general public. Limited and temporary use of the parking lot for emergency veteran assistance may be arranged under specific circumstances, in coordination with Ship leadership, as part of our ongoing mission to support veterans in need.
All public parking lot rentals require a formal rental agreement, and approval is based on the nature of the event, insurance requirements, and scheduling availability. The area does not include access to the canteen, hall, or backyard spaces, which may be rented separately through a separate facility agreement if additional accommodations are needed.
Our goal is to make the Ship’s property a resource for the community — a place where local initiatives can thrive and veterans can be supported with dignity and respect. Whether hosting a weekend market, charity event, or neighborhood gathering, the parking lot at Ship 4084 offers an open, accessible venue rooted in community spirit and service.

policies
- All facility rentals shall be done through the canteen manager, or assistant bar manager.
- All rentals are first come first served, and shall not be placed on the calendar until initial deposit is made.
- NO alcoholic or non-alcoholic (i.e. soft drinks) shall be brought onto the property or into the facility.
- Rentals shall not charge any admission fees to guests during their rental.
- Use of electrical or water during rental is an additional fee.
- No minor shall be permitted to sleep in the parking lot for any reason.
- During whole lot rental, parking spaces shall be designated for membership and staff use.
- Opening of the canteen or other facilities shall be an additional fee.
- Toilet facilities shall be provided by renter, facility restrooms shall not be utilized by guests during parking lot events.
